Why is my cat suddenly wearing a diaper? It's somewhat disturbing.

incontinence as a disorder of aging perhaps?

I'm guessing that the diapers are the update though. Newer isn't always better. I'm seriously considering putting the poor animal out of his misery. He can't be happy in that diaper. And he looks ridiculous.

The pets, by design of the program, start out as babies. As you continue to feed them and care for them, the become "teens" then "adults"

My pet is 302 days old. I think it should be out of diapers by now...

I honestly don't know. I have no knowledge of the actual programming database. There are 100 bodies with 33 of them being babies, 33 teen and 34 adults. How long it takes to get through those steps..... .... I have no idea. :)

My cat is now hiding under a rock in embarrassment over the diaper. It may be a while before he comes back out.

Cuz there are 100 bodies. I just divided them in thirds as we have 3 bodies to work with. Since 100 doesn't divide equally by 3, I put the extra body in the adult section.

No lack of respect taken in the least. ;)

Here is an adult cat in his final stages: http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a325/LibbyChic/dead_adult_cat.gif

And here is a pet teen monkey in desperate need of love and attention: http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a325/LibbyChic/sad_monkey_teen.gif

There are a lot of faces in there, of varying degree....I can't post them all, but those are probably my two favorite. :D

My Q is... WHAT 100th body???

In the files that I sent to Erwin....the ones that overwrote the original files, there are 100 bodies for each pet type. Why? I have no clue. But there they are and each one had to be replaced. They are named, 1.gif, 2.gif, etc all the way up to 100.gif.

I don't know if they die of old age. I don't think so. They can die from lack of food/attention though. You can't get blessing for them when they die. You can't give them a funeral either. What happens to them? They go to that happy pixel place in the sky. ;)

Okay, they must take a LONG time to develop, because my friend's pet is 369 days old...it is still in diapers. Poor doggie. :(

Yep, that's me (notice nooooo diapers!). I escaped from the Adoption Center back in May, and have been wandering around CF ever since, helping pets (especially snails) when I can.
