Well, when I was little I attended the Baptist church with my mother and went to the Penticostal church with my paternal grandparents whom I spent a lot of time with. Then my parents started attending a Penticostal Holiness church then we switched to Assembly of God when I was 12. When I was close to 30 I started attending a non-denom church called Vineyard Christian Fellowship. Then when I moved to Florida I went back to the AOG 'cause Vineyard was too far away. Then I started attending another non-denom that was very lively to put it mildly. Then about a year ago the Lord led me to a Messianic congregation and that is where I am now.
So! I guess you could say I'm a Penticostal Charismatic Messianic with a hint of Baptist (little itty bitty hint).

If you had to list 5 things you would like to accomplish in life what would they be?
1) I would like to be financially independant so that I could not only meet my needs as they came up but I could meet the needs of others as well. I would love to be able to help someone financially so as to pay their electric bill or car payment or give them money for groceries, etc. I'm not there yet but I'm looking forward to the day I can.
2) I would like to write a book for kids and teens that would help them understand how to nurture their relationship with God and get to that place where they can depend on Him for everything. Something that would show them how to mature and walk in victory and overcome the things that hurt them.
I'll have to think on the others. :)

Yeah, I've read them all. I am a fan, but not the biggest fan. I used to just read the book before I'd go see the movie, but then I got tired of having to avoid spoilers from people who did read the books, so I decided I had better catch up with them, and they're definitely good books. However, yeah, still a fan, I do have all three movies on DVD.

What is your favorite Thanksgiving memory?
I can't remember any one particular Thanksgiving but I remember as a little girl when my grandparents were still living and all of the immediate family on my dads side all lived in Calif within an hours drive of each other. My dad, mom, brother, sister would all meet at my grandparents house along with my dads two brothers and their kids (my cousins) and a few of my grandparents neighbors. It would be a huge feast where there was never any shortage of food and us kids would be running around all over the yard playing. When the sun would go down was when the old fashioned ice cream churner would be brought out and us kids would take turns sitting on the top while the adult making the icecream would turn the handle. They would add ice and salt, sit on the lid and turn the handle. :yum: That ice cream was the best when it was done. The electric ones people use today is ok but I don't think the icecream even comes close to tasting as good.
Now of course my grandparents have passed away, as well as one of my dads brothers and his wife. My cousins and I and my brother and sister are spread out all over the US. I'm in Fl, my brother and his boys are in AR, My sister is in KS where my dad and other aunt and uncle are and I hardly ever see them. :( I miss those big family get togethers.
