Well, at least they are said to you in a PM. They accuse me of that right in the conversations. LOL!
So, Self-Proclaimed Mod Loyalist, what is your personal philosophy of life? Are you a Turn-The-Other-Cheek, or What-Goes-Around-Comes-Around, or An-Eye-For-An-Eye kind of guy?

I believe that to lower ones self for petty revenge or flamming only proves your opponent was right in his assumption of you, but by taking the higher road of wisdom and grace you prove yourself to be of a higher moral and Intellectual breeding.

That's an interesting philosphy: do you find it works in real life?

Absolutely correct Echuu!! To lower oneself to petty revenge and vendetta proves the other was correct in the first place! It's best to take the high road graciously and ignore the one who lowered him/herself and prove grace and wisdom comes from those who have higher moral, intellectual, and spiritual breeding as well!
*ugh*( shudders at those who apply revenge.) But, I do feel they are to be pitied more than blamed. Don't you?

I think it's a great idea. I just know that I am far too weak to claim it is how I actually live my life. I can do it outwardly, but inside I can be a seething pot of 'eye for eyeness'!

I am circling in here on "loyalty" - not on you or the mods.
It's one of my favorite themes to explore and contemplate.
I find myself often walking a very fine line when it comes to loyalty.
But it's your thread, and I don't know whether you are okay with a, let's say general talk/discussion about loyalty (e.g. what constitutes for you/others loyalty etc.)

Loyalty to me is to side with someone or something as long as theres even a 1% chance they are right, and refusing to change from my stance till God tells me otherwise :)
Theres an entry in my Journal where i compare loyalty to Star Wars, and i make reference to would i bother fighting and dying for a group i swore loyalty too, even if I knew they were doomed to fail due to their own corruption.

That's why I find myself often walking a fine line ... or where I go overboard - even if there is no chance a person is right and I actually do find just about all is wrong, I'm still not moving (I might be shaken). It's not closing my eyes and it's not about approving.
I do see myself as disloyal, if I decide to move.

I went there but your journal has more than one page :) . But even if you remember the post number, the problem is I know nothing about Star Wars (saw one movie - don't even know which of them), I might not be able to follow. Or it might take me awhile to get your point.

I don't know - its seems like there's some kind of back story that I'm missing. Have you been accused of something? Are you simply making a post proclaiming your loyalty to staff?
I guess I'm not sure why someone would make an OP like that without some kind of incident behind it.

Hmm....Ok.
Wouldn't it be better to say you are loyal to CF? Or to the rule of law? It's seems like stating loyalty to the mods means that you are saying that right or wrong, you will always back a mod. Wouldn't it be better to say you are loyal to principles rather than a group of people?

I worded it the way i wanted to word it :) Why does it offend you? The Mods represent the local Authority, i respect that :) They are the only ones able to remove trolls and troublemakers, and they do a good job at it. lets not tunr this fellowship thread into a debate :)

Be careful Echuu, blind loyalty to any group or cause can be very dangerous.
Always think for yourself.

I just wanted to point out that mods are just normal people, too...we, well, at least I, make mistakes all the time...and I'm quite happy to admit my mistakes when they're pointed out to me. It's not necessary for someone to pledge undying loyalty to the mods...just have respect for the rules that we try to enforce. LOL, I wonder if there are any well crafted lies about ME out there? Hmmm...
So, I had an ex who loved Star Wars more than he loved me, lol. I don't watch the movies anymore because I'm constantly reminded of him...anyway, he was truly obsessed. He had all the original action figures and a lot of the original toys stored in their original boxes (I REALLY need an eyeroll smiley). We went to conventions or out shopping for MORE toys nearly every single weekend. And the nights when we stayed in, we watched the movies.
Do you collect the toys, too? Or go to Star Wars conventions?
:)
