I've just been reading your blog Derek (thanks Heather) and it's great :clap:
What's especially great is that your parents have kept your friends updated when you weren't feeling well. I love the way they tell us who picked the Bible verses :)

I hope you and your family can be an inspiration to many others. :pray:

If you read EPHSTRUTH's CF homepage, you would understand what the TRUTH part stands for, but I have been intrigued by the "EPHS" part, also.

(And my mind did go to F Troop, also. :D )

*EPHS* stands for the name of his high school. If I'm not wrong EPHSTRUTH stands for the Bible study group he is in at school. :)

Please remember to keep Derek in your prayers. He is going through a hard time right now with the cancer treatments.

Yeah, I know what he is going through, too. I was a pediatric oncology nurse for 13 years. I am keeping Derek in my prayers. :prayer:

Hey guys! Thanks for all the prayers and such! I'm currently in the Hospital right now getting chemo, should be here until Monday. Please keep me in yout Prayers, Every Prayer Counts! To get a nearly daily update on me read my Caring Bridge site, the address is www.caringbridge.org/mn/derekh (http://www.caringbridge.org/mn/derekh). I try to update CB every night.

So when I get out of the Hospital I'll try tp answer all of your questions! For now, though, EPHSTRUTH stands for my school, Eden Prairie High School, and then Teens Reaching Up To Him, and Bible study that me and two friends lead at the High school. ((Even though I won't be involved at the beggining of the year for very much...))
