I got to see the Phantom Menace for the first time on TV weeks before the Revenge of the Jedi came out at the theaters. For a long time I wondered why people hated Jar Jar Binks...now I know.
He. is. ANNOYING.
Thankfully, in the next movie after "Phantom Menace" he was only a 'bit' player. (Attack of the Clones?)

I would have to say that I likes TNG the best out of all of them. DS9 I never really got into. Voyager I never liked at all. and the new one was Enterprise it was ok, but I only have rabbit ears at my house and never got that channel very well.

favorite hymn(s) ?
Is there are a reason (you like the tune, or to the lyrics have a particular meaning to you).
Tenorvoice
3rd September 2005, 05:03 PM
There are so many Hyms of the Faith that I would not know where to start.
I guess I would have to say first (right now) would be "Just a Closer walk with the"
Then I would say "In the Sweet, By and By"

I have several favorites and the favorite one among my favorites is the one that goes something like this
"Look at my hands, they are nail scarred" and "they are beautiful hands to me". That's all I remember from the lyrics and yes the tune I remember
I had it on a tape but with all my moving around, that tape got lost. And I can't find that hymn (don't know the title).
And that says a lot about me: forgetting the favorite of my favorites

To be honest with you, I truley do not think that I have "arrived" at my goal thus far.
I really would like to further my education in singing, and in Worship leading. I have a "pull" to the Youth department too. I am just scared out of my wits to take that leap of Faith and go out there and do it. I was terrible in school as a kid and that still scares me to this day.

Drat the cable companies....they made it so that we can't live without clear receptions for our TV's, and we have to PAY for it. Yeah, I remember those rabbit ears...

Not that I am aware of. I know that he played in alot of westerns in his "glory" days.
And that Sorrell Brooks who played Boss Hogg spoke I think it was 4 languages fluently with one of the being Japaneese (sp) and he was also a broadway actor before he played the past of Boss Hogg.

To be honest with ya Red, I have never really put them down on "paper" before. Thanks for asking me tho'
I guess one of them would be to furter my education in the area of music. Not the hystory of it or the technical end of it, and I defiantly do not want to learn how to sign oprea. I want to learn how to corectly expand my reange and focus of keeping my voice strong to praise the Lord with. That would be on top (and if I get a recording deal out of it that would be ok too) ;)
The next one would have to be....since I have such a heart for the youth of today I would not mind getting a youth pastors degree, or something like that. I do not feel that I was called to preach, but to sing and work with the youth of today.
Get my house paid off before the 30yr load in up.
Get married, and start a family.
Be the father/husband that God would have me to be. (but if it is His plan for me to stay single I could live with that.....I would hope).
Thank you again Red for asking me those questions. They really made me think about a few things and where my priorities are in life.

I would have to say this:
Start of the day with going to Fishermen (the men's Bible study/leadership training that we have at our Church).
Hit Hardee's on the way home.( I love their breakfast)
Head home and cut the grass. and then head to my Dad's house and play the rest of the day on the river. Waterskiing, jetskiing, and those kinds of things.
Durring the winter, after I get the house work done, probly just vegg out with a book, or watch a couple movies.
