Hehe, not that I'm interesting or anything. :P

I'll be really suprised if this thread even gets 10 replies. :D In any case, I'm kind of on and off CF for the next couple of weeks. I'll answer any questions as quickly as I see them. :)

So how has your experience with moderating been so far, guitargalmeg? :)

Oh! Before I forget - now that your house needs to be rebuilt (I'm really sorry about that), have you and your family considered the possibility of moving to a different state?

Hi Cozmo

Moderating so far - hehe, I've really liked it. It's given me a chance to to talk with members that I may not have come in contact with otherwise. It's a way that I can give back to the site, and I enjoy it. :)

I seriously doubt we'll move. The land the house is on (it's standing, just not stable) belongs to us, so more than likely we'll rebuild right there. We know there's a threat for hurricanes and all, but the MS Gulf Coast is home. I don't think we could ever leave.

I'm really sorry to hear that, too, guitargalmeg. :(

Are you going to rebuild it, or try to shore it up?

guitargalmeg
1st September 2005, 11:44 PM
We're going to rebuild it. Water got all inside of the walls and the electrical work. There's just too much structural damage to try to salvage it. I was a mess the other day freaking out about everything, but I'm much better now. God can use the situation for His glory, and I know it. :)

Meg, your steadfastness is a blessing and inspiration to many  And you will get heaps more than 10 replies - I'll personally ensure it :P

Thanks, Kris  You should have seen me last night though. I was a mess. It comes in moments I suppose. It is hard. I won't deny that. I know God is right beside me though, and even when I feel like I can't take it anymore, He'll help me through.

Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

I honestly have no idea. Basically the whole area code is down in regards to phone lines, so I haven't been able to speak with anyone. I was home for a day, but I didn't have a chance to drive by and see how it was...not that I could've gotten there anyway. A lot of the roads are still blocked.

Sheesh, lol. My thread is so depressing compared to everyone else's. We need to have some fun in here! :D

C'mon Megs being a southern girl you know flies always hang around even though they are pest. :P

What do you want to be when you grow up. :)

guitargalmeg
2nd September 2005, 06:57 PM
Fine. I can deal with the flies. Hmph. :P

When I grow up? You mean I have to grow up? Darn, lol. Well, I'm a nursing major, so I suppose that's what I'll do. I really do like it, but music is really where my heart is.

Is this thread still on? I have a question or two for guitargalmeg: Who is your favorite Christian music artist? Do you know any famous people?

guitargalmeg

Oh boy, lol.

Favorite Christian music artist - Jeremy Camp
Do I know any famous people? Hmm...is Jeremy Camp famous? :holy:

 He sure will!

Okay, I gotta ask a question - do you prefer acoustic or electric guitar:

a. To play
b. To listen to

guitargalmeg
8th September 2005, 03:01 PM
Good question :D

I would say acoustic for both. I love electric too, but nothing can beat the sound of a nice acoustic guitar. :)

Have you ever thought about changing the color of your hair?

guitargalmeg

Nah, not really. I would look really strange with any other color hair. I do have blonde highlights though. :)

What is your idea of a perfect way to spend a Saturday?

guitargalmeg
25th September 2005, 04:15 PM
Not doing homework. That's for sure! :P

I guess my idea of a perfect Saturday would be going to the beach with friends and family - something like that. I love the beach, and I love getting to spend time with the people I care about, so it's awesome when I get the chance to do things like that. :)

And I would add housework (grrr). ;)

guitargalmeg

Haha, housework. That's funny. You should ask my roommates what I think about housework. I'm so messy, lol. I'm getting better though...I think. :D
