Hola, peeps! :D Come chill with me if ya like, just watch out for the occasional dragon or two... they might have migrated in from the old FireMist RPG. They like to come annoy me once in a while. ;)

Anyhoo... feel free to ask me random questions, do whatever, pretty much. Help yourself to some lavender tea, just watch out for my cats. :D (Trust me, the tea is GOOD!)

Anyhoo... um... hi from your friendly local carbon-based RPG moderator-thingy!

I think I was going to college when D&D first became really popular. I, and a lot of my friends played. I had some friends who were so into it that they would determine if they were going to classes, etc., by rolling the dice.

Do people get into it like that today, too? :D

I never got the DD thing. I think i was a tad too girly or something....lol

Hehehe... nobody I know is like that; I mean... we might make a joke out of something like that, but never, EVER consider it seriously. Our jokes run more along the lines of "Wow! You totally failed your Reflex save there!" for assorted klutzy manoeuvers and the like. (We play the d20 system...)

My current favourite character is an Aasimar Sorceress/Dragon Disciple... hehehe... Charisma of 24, could probably convince a bugbear to become vegan if she tried hard enough. ;)

And D&D doesn't exactly classify as 'girly'... I think of it as a collaborative exercise in imagination, not to mention a WHOLE lot of creative problem-solving if your DM is as maniacally evil as mine is. ;)

What's the funniest thing your cat does?

I have no kitties right now ( :( ) but mine have always had unique and strange habits, lol...

Good grief, I could go on for days!

Well... Ollie (the cat in my avatar) likes to eat earplugs, and he's generally just a barrel of laughs. I swear, that cat has more personality than some people I know. :P He sure thinks he's a person, lol.

My other cat, Nordie, likes to be spun on the kitchen floor... we now keep up a record sheet of Nordie-spinnings. ^_^ (My record is 16 revolutions; last I checked my stepdad had a top record of 25 times...) But then again he has an unfair advantage because he seems to be Nordie's favourite person in the house. :P

how do you spin a cat? My white cat Ember, likes to lick bath water, but won't touch her daily fresh water in her dish. Go figure. :P

Hehehe... Ollie takes water out of anywhere but his bowl, it seems! He'll lick it out of the sink, the bathtub, even the condensation off the sides of people's cups and water bottles! And I've caught him drinking out of the toilet once or twice. ^_^

Nordie actually has a specific "Spin me!" meow that he gives right before he flops onto his side to be spun. You basically put your hand on his chest and spin him around in circles like that... though to date, my stepdad is the only true master of the technique.

I'm Ember's slave, btw....she's the queen of HER house. LOL She DEMANDS to get her daily rubs and scratches. She just turned 9 in May. One thing I just learned about white cats....they SHED A LOT! Cats that are dominately white have a tendency to shed more than any other cats. Argh! Get this: I love wearing black. LOL ^_^

Spin the cat was one of my favorite games when we had a cat! :D I thought that was only my weird obscession.

I absolutely love lavender - the plant, color and the smell :) But this is the first time I heard that one could drink it. Where have I been, I wonder.

Do you just throw hot water on lavender petals and then drink it?

Lavender is one smell I'd like to have 24/7. Thanks for the tip :) - I'll look out for it.

Do you have a favorite Bible verse?

Ummm... I think it's lavender buds or something like that? Anyway... it's nummy, but rather hard to find. There's a specialty shop on either San Juan or Orcas Island that has nothing but lavender goodies! Lavender body soaps, lavender teas, lavender-infused sugars... heck, even lavender chocolates and lavender-baked cookies and scones! It's probably one of my absolute favourite smells in the world. :)

Favourite Bible verse? Uhhh... most of the Book of Revelation. Especially the letter to the Church of Laodicea when I'm really in need of a spiritual wake-up call. (Come on, admit it, we all have moments like that! :P )
