LOL, I wonder sometimes. ;) But, I'll bet we have more Democrats on staff than you might think. I'm one of those weird, crazy, southern democrats...you know, the ones that are born and bred that way.

No way, it's hot enough where I'm at. A cold seat would be pretty refreshing, though. As for my chair, I'd prefer something soft and squishy and without cat hair, please. :)

So Heather,
Whats your favorite tv show?
Hmmm. I LOVE The Amazing Race. Survivor is pretty good, too. Also, lately I've really enjoyed one of the shows on late night God channel...it's called Travel the Road...a reality type show about a couple of missionaries.
Reality TV is one of my guilty pleasures...

Reality TV is really hit or miss with me. I'll watch one season of a show faithfully and then not even bother to watch the premiere of the next season.

Blech...why watch shows that focus on humiliating the loser..? I'd rather watch shows that help people achieve their dream: a better house or a better body. :D

I personally hate those shows - it's like saying "you aint good enough... SOOOOO we're going to make you how we think you should be!!" Though i am a sucker for Queer Eye ;), Carson has an amazing eye for Fashion! I actually LIKE most of the things he puts together, and considering i criticize the best designer lines left, right and centre, Carson gets my approval.

Howdie HeatherJay! I'm soft and squishy and a weird, crazy Southerner. What is your favorite part of CF and why?
CF is so accepting of everyone and we're all able to co-exist here fairly peacefully. I love the fact that not only are Christians welcome, but also those of other faiths and non-believers. I think it's a wonderful opportunity for growth in us all...understanding each other can never be a bad thing. I love the people here...I love the staff...and I love Erwin's neverending committment to make this site even better. I love all the fun things like characters and armor. And I love the wide variety of forum subjects here.there's a place for everyone, no matter where your interests lie.
But, the most wonderful thing about CF is the fact that this board is truly seen as a ministry to reach out to those who are lost, wandering, hurting, or in need. The staff is firmly committed to this...truly, no matter what anyone thinks, we feel this is where God is calling us to be...and all of our focus is directed toward furthering God's kingdom in our own little corner of the internet.
Anyway, it's just the most fabulous Christian site I've ever visited on the web. I love this place so much. :)

Aww thanks. I've actually been senior mod for several months now. But, it's nothing but a title, lol...I am but a humble servant.
:prayer:
"Make me a servant
Humble and meek
Lord, let me lift up those who are weak
And may the prayer of my heart always be
Make me a servant, make me a servant
Make me a servant today."
:prayer:
LOL, may I get you a cup of coffee, loribee? ;)

LOL, most likely. My husband knew I was a horrible housekeeper when he married me. Obviously, I had him sufficiently distracted by my other assets. ;)

If you had to list 5 things you would like to accomplish in life what would they be?
Hmmm...5 things...that's a lot, lol. I can really only think of 2 earthly goals :
1. Raise happy kids who never doubt how much they're loved...and have loads of happy grandchildren one day.
2. Make it through life with my marriage intact, lol. I wanna be one of those cute little old couples holding hands on the beach.

Do you collect anything?
Oh yes! I LOVE to collect Christmas ornaments. Blown glass ornaments are my favorite...not the metallic looking glass, but the pretty, etched, glass-looking kind, lol. It makes me giddy just thinking about being able to get them out soon. :pink:
I also am a sucker for fabric. I like to make quilts and I can hardly walk by the fabric section of a store without picking up a little something. I think I might like buying fabric more than I like the actual quilting, lol.
