"What kind of coke do you want?"

"I'll take a Diet Pepsi, please."

My favorite kind of coke ( :D ) is Caffeine Free Diet Pepsi (though I'm drinking a Diet Coke with Splenda at the moment). I find Pepsi products to be more refreshing than Coke products, in general, but there are exceptions to the rule here and there.

I love CFDP as well - it's all that my mum will drink, so I've grown to appreciate it. I'm indifferent when it comes to the Coke v Pepsi debate - my fave soft drink is a traditional lemonade that is sold here in Australia which is smilar to a lemon squash but a bit more sour :)

I like a Double Espresso Mocha Late, with 3 sweeteners (no calories please :)) and skim milk.

I also like a Cappucino with a shot of vanilla, hold the Double till the second serve ;), full cream milk and 3 brown sugars.

I can also go for just about anything, rearranging it how i want it. :P

Weeeeell some GJs aren't as good as SBs. It varies with place to place eg:

Strathfield Mall's GJs are terrible.
Newtowns GJs are terrible.
Wynyards GJS are fantastic
Seven Hills GJs are amazing.
Centrals are pretty good, though lazy.
Penriths are um... i dunno, i don't live anywhere near Penrith lol. :P

(cities in Sydney btw ;))

Parramatta starbucks are ... [not great. very not great.]
Townhall's Stabucks are really really good though. ;)
Castle towers (just outside) are yummy. :D
Enmores are good, too.

loribee59

give or take that no two tastebuds are the same, some would say the opposite.. LOL

SB at Lancaster Mall is waaaay better than the ones at Liberty/Salem Centre Mall. meh.
SB at any Safeway stores are ok.

We DO have competition here, although I haven't tried them. Guess I'm a SB girl through and through. ;)

It depends on when you asked the moderator to tell the Alpha member
If that made any sense..I can check for you though to see if anyone has responded to the request yet. When did you ask the mod?

Well, I'm pleased to see there are so many coffee lovers. I got into "real" coffee in college where I discovered espresso based drinks. Very yummy. I eventually bought a steam-based espresso machine and toyed with it. After reading the coffee geek websites, I found I was missing out and purchased a decent pump-driven espresso machine and bought a bur bean grinder. Later, I discovered the fantastic world of freshly roasted coffee online (they don't roast it until you order it). The flavor of 3 day "old" coffee is absolutely divine! :yum:

I had a gift from my friend: an Italian espresso brewer that can brew your coffee within that very pot, and you can also brew your own tea.

So, INFALLIBLE...a cup of ice and coffee...when I first read that I imagined a cup of Nescafe with an ice cube floating on top. :D

The place where I work makes the awesomest iced coffees (it's a Christian bookshop with a cafe)...yummy ice cream, cream, cocoa sprinkled on top. Sadly, it's probably not gonna help my waistline decrease

I am currently trying to convince myself that thin waistlines are way overrated.

The "skinny blonde bimbo bombshell" look is overrated. HEALTHY is attractive, though. And I don't mean healthy as a euphamism for "larger." I mean it as eating right, exercising, etceteras.

I finally saw "Calendar Girls" for the first time, just the other day. It made me feel really good about myself.

"And the final stage is the most glorious...."

That's the one about the women in England who pose for the calendar to raise money?

"Oh dear. People will think it's pornography!"

*Laughing ensues*

Good movie :)

I've done convinced myself of that. Now I'm trying to convince myself that voluptuous is overrated and that full-figured is in. :D

They are, by all means...:) Just that I have a habit of having an iced coffee evey shift when it's long enough to have a lunch break  And at about $3 Australian each, it's not an inexpensive alternative to water if I have 3 or 4 shifts a week. But about thin waistlines and wafer thin catwalk models...I don't think it's healthier than having a fuller figure.

Oooh, mocha frappucino's the one for me...! I have that as a treat, though. Beware of Chantico, though~ 390 calories of FAT, but oh so RICH. MMMM. :yum:

For wintery coffee treats: I'd usually order pepperment mocha, or eggnog latte, or pumpkin pie latte, which Starbucks is serving right now. Eggnog and peppermint won't come around til November, I think.

:yum: :yum: :yum: :yum:

Wowzers...I'm intrigued about all these flavours :D But I'm probably not the most daring person when it comes to trying new tastes. However, taht peppermint mocha seems so scrum-diddly-umptious!! :yum: :yum:

it is...especially when it's topped w/whipped cream and ground peppermint.. :yum:

Pumpkin pie Latte is quite mild and Eggnog, is just what it is: eggnog. It's delish! :yum:
