I have this project and I don't understand it and I am burned out trying to get it done.
During the classical time period 1000 B.C.E. - 500 B.C.E.
History does not come easy for me and I am so stressed out from trying to figure out what is the government and what is the legal system and nothing is plain in my textbook to me. It is all Greek to me - no pun intended.
I am supposed to make a table to compare the characteristics of the
Chinese Empire
Indian Empire

Government

Economic System

Hi all...very new newbie...and somewhat new to the forum experience...wondering...where do I go to learn all about the forum? What are "blessings"? I'm familiar with reputation points...what's the difference between this and the blessings? Is there a specific forum for all the newbie questions? LOL

then you need to buy you a dog or something.
I went to the auction, had a look around and spotted a Salvation Army shield. Cowboy 12 started the bidding, then I offered 50 blessings, I thought surely this will be accepted until I paid a visit to his home page. He hasn't been online since December 2006, so I withdrew the bid, phew, 2006?
What is up with that??

Greetings in the Name of Jesus::hug:
I posted :
Here is a nice proverb:
pro 1;22. " How long ye simple ones, will you love simplicity? And scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge."
end of post.
this was posted in Non nicene/unitarian/ Is Yeshuah YHVH? Last Post in thread.
I was posted by " Chris bot" that this verse was off thread topic, and should be removed.
I would add, that It is written. "all scriptures are Good for all occasions, for instruction, and edification".
Now since I did not address this post unto any individual. I find that some are interpreting into the meanings of scriptures, as to their relevance and correlation unto thread topics. Which I believe is overstepping an individuals role, lest they are perfect in theology.
Scriptures addressed to individuals, which do flame or insult, would be another subject...
But generic open ended scriptures, not addressed, should not be judged by merit, its Like Judging Gods words as to value.
I find not a rule which address scriptures meanings, and any clarification would be appreciated. Personal message unto this topic would be gratefully received.
I pray my words do not offend, God bless Christians in forum, and all those who use it.

Hi:
I find this forum just a little confusing. Now that I have found this area to write I hope that I can find it if there is a reply ;).
I fond this by typing "Seventh Day Adventist forum". But this doesn't seem like an Adventist forum. Is it? Is this a place where I may ask an Adventist a question about the bible?
Thank you,
Annie

I am a designer by trade- graphic, type, internet. This site boggles the mind with it's complexity, rules and cheezy icons. It really confuses the eye. With all the religious art out there should we resort to such a base icon. I bet the Eastern Church would have none of this. I do like the
images at the top.
Is there a theologian on this site? I have some really complex questions. Is it true that the story of Abraham and Issac has a Hollywood ending and Abraham did sacrifice his son. The prequel Silence of the Rams?
Thanks, d. moth

True Compassion for Gays
I just read a post from a young gay guy to a chaplain. The young man was concerned about his late feelings and ,I feel, was desperate for help. The reply was that his gayness was a sin. This,so called, chaplain wanted to know some more information as to his standing with God,etc.
What a stupid question to ask, anyone ! If I knew my standing and had the answer to that question, myself,I'd be lacking true humility.
God loves Gays as much as He loves you and I !
I think that we should turn it ALL over to God and quit playing His role in making decisions that could be harmful by our lack of the Truth on the subject.
Chaplains, wake up and quit playing God ! We ALL are teachers and students ! If you don't realize this, your EGO is in the way. EGO=Easing God Out

I thought this is a Christian site but some ADs are very flesh-enticing, as if this site is up to seducing Christians into falling back to the world they are fleeing from, or just doesn't care whatever is exposed to the fellow Christians and the effects of it.
Or, am I too sensitive or conservative?
Why do I have to see a half naked woman in a TV ad on a Christian site?
Do I really have to since that is what I asked for by joining this Christian community?
gradkiss
24th June 2008, 01:08 PM
I would see half clothed instead of half naked....women??? when one is half full to the ears in respect to an emotional consequence, of the psychosomatical resulting conclusions that are recognizable as identifiable....consider this....we live in an abode...where we among the other members....continually permeate the causals and effectuals we witness...or are relative with...
There are times that we are not statisfied with these conclusions and resist in turn, any compliance or agreement....We are in fact, not commanded to look or not look at a woman...in any manner of dress...as it's a truthful statement....she's not a guilty party to our individual look....it is something that is a concern within us...a male...who tend to exhibit ourselves in this manner.
Sin is an action, that removes, deminishes or destroys us....I only hope you understand....the look of a woman clothed or dressed is a learned one and involves factors that are consisdered to be customary....learned...so if we learned the appropriate for a woman was to be unclothed in our sight....it would most definitely become the customary...the usual....hardly thought of as contridicting anything.
But...knowing men...a woman dressed, would then have an effect upon the male of great proportions....as it would be the unusual...
Know this...we men are this way...if you dressed women in boxes...corrigated boxes....paper ones....with two holes for her sight....and a pair of sun-glasses, we'd be in pursuit of corrigated boxes with sun glasses....sexually speaking. I laugh, because we are that impressionable.
Now...the stimulus we recieve in the abode....from a failing government, a government that disparages us from the pure correct form of governing we should be expecting....the implications we recieve from the use of a tender of coin and paper that does not equal our work, does not equal our worth....a tender that removes...is a continuous loss of focus and effort....a system of economics that always results the same way...as if it were itself, bi-polar....up and down in a cycle that repeats itself....over and over....denying...depriving, abridgeing...and killing us....as if it were at the least a premeditated slow poisoning....
Such is illegal...and has many conclusive results for us...the ones that are emotionally intellegent....yes we...you and I and others ....knowing our embodied self...aware of who we are and what we are destined for....sometimes...
Chaos...results the chaotic....the refuted...but when we resolve first...the inner self....identity and fully understand ourselves....how we are by commandment....by the results of creation....linked together with the responcibility to resolve and remedy...you will know what the Judicial branch requires....we...the wise ones.....not the ones that continually revenge what others do...punish and incarcerate with no remedy as the result.....no....that's not intellegent....not smart....not fair and not impartial with the other 300,000,000 or so members of the public.(300 million)
That's 300 millions hats on 300 million heads....that should be the cover of something within....knowlege....etc. allowing us as a nation...a group of people politically connected, to a correct assent of the law and the concurring....hardly argueable...forgive the spelling....I am in a hurry....but I hope you find some peace with this, that I wrote....and may you have a blessed day. gradkiss

It is very difficult for me to say if you are highly spiritual and enlightened or half cooked and naked.
I wish I could have your kind of eyes to see the half clothed.
How long will it take to train my eyes to be like yours?

If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Oh my goodness, I'm so tired of this. I come to this place to see if maybe I speak against evolution with some people who feel the same way I do, but here, yes even her, people speak down towards me and act so high and mighty. Lord I just wish I could talk to people my age about this whole thing. Sadly I have no friends who would want to ask how my day is going, I'm sitting here, just throwing this out there thinking, hoping maybe someone will listen or talk to me. God, I need You. It's hard to keep going with this. I see the evidence, but so many others will not listen, they are blind. I love Christian apologetics, it's basically my life, but what good is this gift of mine if no one will listen to me? I feel useless and tired, I seek refuge, and someone to listen. This is my day, people in Africa are starving and I'm throwing a pity party about my life. Sigh. God help me.
