This is a follow up to our revival news and the Lord is absolutely blowing me away. His presence is so thick, I feel like I can touch Him. Anyway, I wanted to share this with people, because God and His word are awesome.
Sunday, when God revealed that we should have revival, it started raining very hard outside. I mean a downpour. The thunder came and then it poured. No one thought anything of it at the time.
Monday night, same as Sunday. When God's word was opened up and read, thunder was heard outside and then soon, the rain fell again. Mind you, it hadn't rained in my county for almost a month.
Tuesday night. Exactly the same as Sunday and Monday!
Wednesday night. Yep, you guessed it...exactly the same!
Now today (Thursday) when I got up, I thought I should read a verse before I went into work. This is where God showed me to read.
Psalm 68: 8-10
8 The earth shook;
The heavens also dropped rain at the presence of God;
Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
9 You, O God, sent a plentiful rain,
Whereby You confirmed Your inheritance,
When it was weary.
10 Your congregation dwelt in it;
You, O God, provided from Your goodness for the poor.
I was blown away and had to share that with everyone I saw today. I get cold chills thinking about it.
