smilie question

I have a nurse smilie downloaded as a gif. I would like to insert it into my signature but can't figure out how to do it. Is this possible?

No, it's not. We do not allow external images in sigs, only smilies from this site. This is to avoid the problem of people inserting huge images into their sigs and slowing down threads.

However, you can insert the smilie in your posts, by using the img tags, as long as you have uploaded the smilie somewhere.

Keep in mind it isn't enabled all of the time in all forums. Happy posting :)

shoot, I can't get it to work. Is that because it says [IMG] code is OFF down at the bottom of the 'post reply' screen?

That would be why. It's disabled for some of the forums. The webmaster/administrator Erwin says up above that it should be enabled for all forums, though.

Okay, I've checked.

The img tags can be used in all forums except the Announcement Forum, the Official Polls forum and the Web Links forum.

It WAS disabled in this forum, but I've enabled it again, so your smilie did work, Lynn. :)
