I just accepted Christ a few weeks ago. I just need to know what do I do next? I want to start going to a church, but things right now are extremely busy and I don't think I could get anyone to take me. Does anyone have any ideas? I really want to be a good Christian but I don't know where to go next.

I haven't been a Christian very long myself, but my advice would be for you to take your problem to God in prayer. Just tell Him you want to go to church where you can meet more people who will help you in your walk with His Son. Ask God to provide a way for you to go to church. It might not happen immediately, but if you wait a little while, He will come up with some way for you to get to church. And it will probably be something you would have never thought of yourself. Good luck and God bless!!

Yes. Read your Bible in the meantime.

Also, if your family is not wiling or able to take you, do you have any friends that are Christians who would?

I don't really have many friends. I don't really like going out much, but I could always ask around, I guess.

Very good question. my advice, is look in your local phonebook under chruches. ask your mom about the different types. then call some up and ask how the services work, what times the masses are etc....hope that helps! PM me if you have any questions. i'm always here. :)

Hi there!

I happened to be looking around and I came upon your conversation! I think it is very important to find a church that has people your own age that you can relate with. A church with a good youth group will not only be fun, but it will help with your fellowship with fellow believers and ultimatly, Christ! Where I live, Seattle, we have the Vineyard churches and Mars Hill both, have a younger newer less stuffy aproach to serving God. Knowing and walking with the Lord should be FUN not boring! I hope this helps. Be blessed, and pray often!

I lot of churches have buses that go around and pick people up.

I think it's great that your mom wants to go with you. Maybe she'll decide that she likes it, too. I love going to church and I wish my family would go with me, sometime.

If a church you like doesn't have a bus or a carpool, ask if there's an adult or a family in your area that you could ride with and then ask them to meet with your mom so that she can decide whether or not that's a good idea.

If you'd like to PM me, I can help to put you in touch with a good church in your area. Ask your folks if it's OK first.

Yes, going to church is important. It's also really good to start reading a little bit of the Bible every day, talking to God, and telling people that you are now following Jesus.

Do you know any other Christians at school?

Congratulations on accepting Christ! God is proud of you. Like others have said, begin following Christ by reading the Bible. Find a good Bible believing church that has a good program for the youth so that you can meet new friends in Christ. Also, attend Sunday school at the church. That can help educate you more in the Bible. And it also allows you to ask questions to the teacher. The Book of John in the Bible is a good one to begin reading.

I hope you the best in your walk with Christ. Continue to give us updates with you life. God Bless...

I've started readed the bible a little. I won't be able to attend church for about a month, though. I don't know any Christians at school. I'm too afraid to ask them.

Tell people the good news, try to live like Jesus did, love on people. When you get the chance, go to church.

Living for Jesus in school is an awesome oppurtunity.

Don't be afraid to ask. If they are not Christians, then it would be a good time for them to accept Christ. Take every opportunity that you can to tell people about the good news of Christ.

They may be Christians, and they could be afraid to ask you, too.
