I think they must've just set it up. There's no posts yet. I went to "register" and it told me that my user name already existed. So, I logged in - this means that it's the same system as their young adults message board (which isn't very active).

I signed up and it crashed and burned, with lots of errors. Then the next day, I got a welcome message. Hmmm, I wonder if they know what they are getting themselves in for.... and I'm sure some IT admin must be really questioning how his forum is getting hits, and its not yet ready to roll.

It kinda looks like it's working now...there's just nothing on it...should we stage a coup?...

It is working, but I think they've only set it up for the ELCA lately. It started as the Young Adults message board. Maybe that's what it's for still, really. I don't know. There's a way to get into the young adults area from that. So, in reality there ARE posts there. They are just on the young adults posts. Maybe you should just start some threads and see what happens.

Hmmm, there are 4488 users, and some have been there for quite a while.
I have no way to post, all I get is admin board, and maintenance annoucements. Did I sign up in the wrong place? Did I accidentally become an admin.

*goes to board*
*goes to login*
*enters user name and password*
*hits the button*
*is taken to front page that has a thread that says "system maintenance announcements" (under a thing that says "Home-Admin Board-Login")*
*clicks on "options" that is at the top of the page*
*clicks on "myboards"*
*listed for me is "system admin" and "young adults"*
I know I can click on "young adults" to get to that.
I told you guys that it was set up for the young adults board. . .
I don't know if they are planning on having a main ELCA board or not. . .

LOL. . the ELCA YM forums isn't all that active, anyway. kinda sad, really. However, it's the same stuff over and over with the people that post there. Same people, same ideas, same stories. . .might get more active once school starts and there are more events again.
