So I went to the doctor today because of some of the complications of the surgery. One of them was the fact that the cast felt like it was not on correctly. So I went in and the doctor was like, "why dont we just take it off and put you in a compression cam walker(ccw)?" SO I am now in a ccw.

A CCW is looks like a cast but is made out of soft material with two hard posts on the sides of my legs to keep it up right. It has a "compression pump" too that I can inflate and deflate for added comfort and to reduce swelling. So as my mother calls it, it is my "Air Jordan Cast"

YEAH!!!!

Unfortunately not, the only color it comes in is black. and it is alot bulkier than the cast, so I am gonna have to cut up some of my pants to get this thing to fit under them.

My dad had to wear a cam walker for his Charcot's Foot. I know what those look like. I don't think his was a compression one though. Glad you're happy with the fact that it's what you have.

So, will you be ready for dancing soon? ;)

Only if I want to make an ER visit afterwards:P !

I am not allowed to even go on a retreat 6 weeks from now! It is important that I dont try to do too much on it, even if my fiance wants me on that retreat (we go every year).

Thank you all for the prayers and kind words, most of you can keep me laughing!

yes...but how do you keep the horses from drowning?...

Not for a while anyways...

Water Polo= you dont use horses or you only do it in about 3 feet of water, so that the horses can "run" in the water without drowning.

I dont know when I'll be around...probably Monday or Tuesday. I am going camping this weekend. We get back Sunday night and then I have homework that is due on Monday, so probably Monday night or Tuesday.
