Oh . . . my . . . gosh! I had that skirt in the '90s and wore it to teach seventh grade! A few of my kids suggested I'd gotten it wet, hung it up to dry, and then all the dye bled toward the bottom.

A note: All the hippie ladies I knew were wearing paisley long dresses with the "waist" just below the bosom (perhaps to eliminate the need for foundation garments) and elastic at the loose neck (for ease in nursing an infant) and at the hem of the medium-length sleeves (had some elastic left over, who knows). It's probably hard for some people to remember, or even see in pictures and films, because so much of one's clothing was obscured by hippie hair. (Let your imagination run wild . . .)

An exception -- If you were a hippie lady protester, you learned the first time not to wear a skirt or dress. However righteous your arrest, anything but pants rides up when you are being dragged away by your feet.

Lest I be misunderstood in my attempt to sound knowledgable about hippies -- I loved mine too, and would welcome the skirt in any color or combination of colors! (Thanks, Savedsis)
