Mea Culpa

Hi Everyone!
Our God is so good. The love of God is much more than any of us can ever fully understand.
You get people who say that the Bible is inconsistant. Yet if they are talking like that they don't know the Person who the Bible is about. The love of Christ unfolded in His word, from Genesis to Revelations is amazing. Unless you know God, the Bible is foolishness and a bunch of falicies.
How much does God love us? He sent His Son to die on the cross for us. The love of anyone wanting to die on behalf of someone else is amazing enough. But a God who choose to dress in our flesh and in our human condition, a PERFECT Person in Christ Jesus, to die for us on our behalf and to pay the penalty that was due. A price that we could never pay, He choose to die for us. There are not words to say how amazing, how wonderful, how full of love God has for us to do that on our behalf. Our role in our exceptance to God? Believe. Amazing. A blank cheque. Sign here. That is it.
The Da Vinci Code is leading so many people astray. Yet when people look at those things, they are looking at the wrong thing. Was Jesus married? To say something like that is to deny the divinity of Christ. And if you know Christ, there is NO way that you could except that. Yet so many people are decieved. So many people are being led like lambs to the slaughter because the da Vinci Code speaks of proof. Tangible proof. Yet for the Christian, the proof isn't in seeing, it is in believing. It is in the life of Christ and His Holy Spirit indwelling us. How powerful is that? And how much proof do you need, when God is literally dwelling in our hearts? And who are we that the Holy Spirit dwells with us? Amazing love, how can it be?
I have seen so many church groups, individual Christians, Catholics, Protestants, etc, losing perspective on the truth. We have separated ourselves into these little groups. We think that we have the corner on truth. Yet what did Christ pray?
Quote:
John 17:23 (Amplified Bible)
23I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me.
God is love, and one of the things that God has been showing me is that we have to love. We have to love one another, love our brothers and sisters, everyone.
I could go on, but this is a book already. I am just so full of love for my Saviour. I love God so much, and I am so greatful for the life that He has given me, and the life that I have in Him.
I want to thank you, brothers and sisters, for bearing with me, and for His love for all of us.
May we love one another as Christ Jesus loved the Church.
