have a forum for Anglicans who consider themselves Orthodox so they would not have to refrain from talking about the current situation of the communion? It is evident that there are very conflicting views and while I appreciate the rules of this forum that the moderaters have come up with, I think that discussions like these are completely necessary and vital to the interests of all Christians, not just Anglicans.
How would we go about applying for/doing such a thing?

I would like register my respectful disagreement with the post above on three basises. Firstly, though I support Bishop Robinson's consecration, I consider myself orthodox, as do many Anglicans who might be categorized as moderate or liberal. Orthodox is not a synomyn for conservative, even though it is in many cases used that way popularly. So, what is really being proposed is a special conservative forum. :)
Secondly, I believe we in maintaining visible unity whereever possible. It would be really sad if we couldn't maintain fellowship with one another despite our common Christian and Anglican (or Old Catholic) heritage. I think by and large we do all get along with each other here. We have some good hearty debates, but that's in many respects one of the purposes of having a message board in the first place. :) I feel that both conservatives and liberals alike help me with my spiritual journey, provide good fellowship opportunities, and offer keen insights in many different aspects of scripture, reason, and tradition. :)
Thirdly, the more forums we divide into, the lower the overall traffic tends to be and the fewer comments each individual forum tends to generate. Look what's happening over on the Lutheran board. I wouldn't want to have that happen here as well.

The rules restricting the discussion of homosexuality to 1) Philosophy and Morality, 2) Liberal theology, or 3)Christian Philosophy apply to the Christian Forums site as a whole; including all subforums of the site.
No-one is required to refrain from talking about the current situation of the communion, but to conduct them according to the rules and in the context of those three forums. Discussions like these are indeed necessary and vital to the interests of all Christians, not just Anglicans, and the approved debate forums allow such discussions to take place
