Which denominations want an Open subforum?

Erwin is allowing congregational forums to have a subforum that allows people from "outside" to come in and post questions about our particular beliefs.

It think that "Questions by Non-Christians" works just fine, thanks. The only demand I see for that kind of thing would be in the Catholic forums.

Would the proposed subforum be open to any and all? Debate? What kind of rules would be in place?

I know that it wouldn't be a debate forum and that it would be open to all. :)

No need, there is already a huge portion of the site for this, if people want to interact with non-Christians they can do so in the open area of the forums.

This (congregational forums in general) is my "safe" place for fellowship...so I would say "no".

While I agree that we need a place for fellowship - I believe that any chance we can get to share the gospel we should take. The current open forums are often used as places of hardline debate where the gospel gets buried under layers of sarcasm and argument. An area *SEPERATE* from this one and the debate forums that non christians can come to post might lead to people letting their walls down long enough to actualy "hear" the gospel.

The more chances someone has to be exposed to the truth the better. I am not one to use this phrase but in this situation what would Jesus say? Would he reach out to the non believers or leave them in their designated forums?
