View Full Version : Poll: 90 Day Bible Begin Date
Fish and Bread

In the "Bible in 90 Days" thread, two potental start dates have been discussed. The first date is November 1, which is probably the earliest possible date to begin, as the bible is released in October and people will need sufficent time to acquire it and so forth. Father Rick then recommended we begin November 27, as that is the beginning of Advent and the start of a new liturgical year. My preference is November 1, because I'm anxious to get started, but Father Rick's suggestion is very fitting and I'm willing to go with the concensus of the group.
I'd ask that only those people who are going to be participating in our bible study vote in the poll please. :)

Well... John and I have voted... so we're at a dead tie.
While I vote 11/27, I'm really fine with either one.

Don't really have a preference, although logistically it might be difficult for everyone to get the book by 11-1 if it doesn't come out until October.

Late November/December Holidays are such a busy time -- I'd like to get the habit of reading daily established well in advance of this time rather than try to *start* during Thanksgiving/Advent/Christmas Pageant/End of Semester/School Play/Music Recital/Christmas... well you get the picture.

I don't know if I'll be able to join in or not yet (explained in other thread), so either start-date would work for me.

Just wanted to note that I'll be closing the poll sometime tomorrow morning, so if you're participating, haven't voted yet, and want to vote; this is your last chance. :)

Final results:
Nov 1: 4
Nov 27: 3
I'm having a few Internet access issues at present, so I apologize if I'm a bit slow on keeping the ball rolling with this stuff. :) I'm sure it'll all be resolved by November, though. :)

I'd agree with starting it on the 1st. You have the madness of Thanksgiving and then the kick off of the MAD shopping season around the 27th. Better to get people in the habbit before the holidays because some may be very busy come the 27th.
