Well, I really really liek tolkien and sort of recognized it.
I got someone to translate Christos Anesti; Alethos Anesti for me during Pascha.

Alithos is a better transliteration. Αλιθος is better still. ;) Alethos is wrong, because it's a long 'e'.

Ah, I arrived too late. I would not have gotten the dialect right anyway, but I did recognize it as being Elvish. I am also a Tolkien fan. How neat that someone translated the Lord's Prayer. :cool:

It isn't a greek font. It's my default font, writing Greek. This machine is set up to do so, since I have to work in Greek on a very occasional basis. ;)

I would have even gotten the dialect. Sindarin has a fairly different feel to it. Most of the names in middle earth related to men and elves are all in Sindarin. Quendi was always much less common (because it was banned by the Sindar of middle earth for many years). It was only used a few times in poetry or an occasional name. Quendi, also is inspired by Finish and it has a similar sound, or feel to Finish.
