Has anyone read this book? I'm wanting to read it but wanted to hear others' opinions first. Thanks!

Hey jukes!
We had a discussion on this not even a month ago.

It's a pretty good book, but it's somewhat polemical and if you're a serious history buff, you'll probably be just a tad bit disgusted.

Most of the history proper is good, but the bias is so obvious that it makes you want to cover your eyes.

Did you discuss it in this forum? I'll search for the thread if you let me know what forum it was in. Thanks (Sometimes, I'm a fan of biased history...)

Yes, he hits Luther really hard...starts discussing his habit of "playing" with feces, etc...not a pretty read. I didn't finish it shortly after that point.

Dominus,

That struck me too, when I read it. However, it comes from his journals, so he says in the Bibliography.

I read it a few years ago, and I wasn't too impressed with it.

God Bless,
