Has anyone heard of the theory that the translation is wrong.. the translation from Hebrew to English was, "two of every flesh" - not "two of every animal"
Meaning Noaj took people not animals.. this theory is floating around the site called, the Shepards Chapel lead by Br. Arnold Murray. He has a show that airs every morning.
Im confused???

Genesis 6:18-19
Note the distinction between the people to be brought into the Ark and the "every living thing" which is further illuminated by 6:20.
Gen 6:18 But with854 thee will I establish6965 (853) my covenant;1285 and thou shalt come935 into413 the ark,8392 thou,859 and thy sons,1121 and thy wife,802 and thy sons'1121 wives802 with854 thee.
Gen 6:19 And of every4480, 3605 living thing2416 of all4480, 3605 flesh,1320 two8147 of every4480, 3605 sort shalt thou bring935 into413 the ark,8392 to keep them alive2421 with854 thee; they shall be1961 male2145 and female.5347
Gen 6:20 Of fowls4480, 5775 after their kind,4327 and of4480 cattle929 after their kind,4327 of every4480, 3605 creeping thing7431 of the earth127 after his kind,4327 two8147 of every4480, 3605 sort shall come935 unto413 thee, to keep them alive.2421

Don't believe it.
1 Peter 3:18-20
18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit, 19 by whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison, 20 who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
NKJV
That's pretty specific.

Mr. Murray is an interesting sort of fellow. A curious mixture of some very good truth and some grave, even to the point of ridiculous, error. I wouldn't get too worried about anything he said if I were you. In fact, if you aren't really really versed in the Bible, I wouldn't watch him at all.

Noah did bring two of every animal with him. But I do agree that there was people there then just Noah family.
