Please keep the family, co-workers and friends of the 3 crewmembers from Tri-State Careflight who died today when their emergency medical helicopter crashed in Colorado. :(

On Thursday, May 30, 2005, three Tri-State Careflight team members were killed in a helicopter crash. The Agusta K119 crashed 15 miles west of Durango, CO, killing the pilot and two medical crewmembers. More details will be posted as they become available.

Oh my! Yes, of course I will be praying.

Father, I can't imagine how horrible it is to lose a loved one in a helicopter crash, let alone when they were working to save the life of another. Lord, please be with the families, now in their grief and forever more while they live out their lives without the presence of their loved ones. Going on after such a loss is hard, and although the saying says that time heals all wounds, the truth is time just makes the wouldns easier to live with but the never completely heal. Lord, wrap yourself around all of them and each of them, know their hearts and give them what they need to bear the grief and come closer to you because of their pain. Lord, the only great thing that could come from this is if people come to know you and rely on you becasue of this accident. Otherwise it is a total loss, and I know you would never allow your will to be a total loss. Through the authority given to us by Jesus Christ, amen.
