Which apocryphal or psuedopigraphal writing that details the early years of Christ?
Thanks,

Check out the Infancy Gospel of Thomas. It's just insane. It shows Jesus getting angry with playmates and killing them. Joseph then comes and yells at Him and Jesus raises the children from the dead. It's an interesting read, but not a shred of truth in any of it.

I'm sure God was going to sue for wrongful defamation, but then he must have realized that he doesn't have any lawyers up there.
Oh, by the way, there's also the infancy gospel of James, which details Jesus' birth.

I can remember reading one years ago that hasn't been mentioned. It's called something like The Childhood of Jesus or the Childhood of Christ, something like that. It had all kinds of fanciful stories, like Jesus was able to fly around his house growing up and weirded out his parents and neighbors to show that with faith nothing is impossible, and that Jesus put the head back on a dead chicken to teach people to be vegetarians. I'll see if I still have it around somewhere.

Oh yes, there's also a document that was discovered in India circa 1900 by a Russian man named Nicolai Notovitch, which claims that Jesus spent his teenage and early adult years in India. Obviously it's a fake, because (as far as I know) only one document was found. And when something is for real, you can generally find at least a few separate copies.
Anyway, the funny thing about this story is that those who practice idolatrous religions, especially Hindus, seem to be very attached to it. But if you actually read the story, "Jesus" goes to India to preach against polytheism and Hindu idolatry, and he tells the Hindus not to listen to the Vedas. Granted, there still is quite a bit of heretical material in this text. But even if this story were true (which it isn't), some of it wouldn't be out of character for our Lord.
