Have you ever stopped to consider just how truly amazing our salvation is? God has done everything possible to allow people to enter into salvation. God sent his only Son..................even to people who never wanted or asked for him.

How simple and yet how deep salvation is! Is it possible for a person, to live a totally selfish life and then in one moment, even his last moment to turn this all around. Can someone pray to the Lord from their heart, in faith believing and be saved? Even if this is their last breath? Yes!

Look at the thief on the cross. He lived a bad life. He deserved his punishment. He turned to Jesus in his final moments and was assured of paradise. What truly amazing Grace. And yet he fulfilled the requirements that are given anywhere in Scripture. John 3:16: he believed in Jesus, Romans 10:9: he confessed with his mouth and believed in his heart.

How unbelievably simple yet amazing and so unbelievably deep and life changing?

And the peace that comes with that moment of salvation is indescribable-peace that passess all understanding. No matter what life brings- you have that blessed assurance.

What a totally awesome and undeserved salvation. Something that canbe received free and yet cannot be bought at any cost. Awesome:clap:

Amen. Have you noticed that there is almost nothing that has been added to the topic since Lismore originally posted? Man, that is a Grand Slam home run of an OP.

Good job Lismore.
