Canada's Prime Minister has ignored the wishes of the majority and the wishes of God by ramming through the legalization of same-sex marriage in this country using underhanded political tactics. The bill does not specifically protect religious freedom, and already gay-marriage advocates are insisting that churches should be forced to marry gays or lose their tax exemptions.

If there are any Canadians on this forum, please show your disapproval by contacting your local MP and demanding that religious expression not be shoved aside to serve the whims of a tiny minority. This goes beyond denominational differences here; this is ANY Church that doesn't toe the same-sex line being threatened, whether they be Catholic, Orthodox, Muslim, Jewish, Presbyterian, Pentecostal, etc.

Gay marriages have been legal here for a year or more and gay couples can have/ adopt children.

How is it you got to this socialistic point up there in Canada? How much do your leaders and persons of influence try to propagate that junk down here?

Didn't you know? Canada is a world leader in 'progressive' thinking. Liberals in this country have one motto: get power at all costs, keep power at all costs. They do anything and everything to ensure that they stay in charge, and they are very, very good at it. As for how we became Cuba North, blame Pierre Elliot Trudeau, the worst Prime Minister this country ever had. He was an absolute nightmare: a devout socialist who got mainstream power. He drove our country into debt, destroyed our military, made a mockery of our parliamentary traditions, and then passed on that legacy to his successors. Aided and abetted by an unabashedly liberal media that never met a liberal it didn't adore, Trudeau and his followers changed Canada from a shining beacon of the north into a dim light bulb of incompetence.

No problem. Although it's the first time my sig was seen as anti-American (particularly since I'm constantly asked by liberals on both sides of the border why I don't move there since I love America so much).
