I attended a Free Will baptist church last Sunday. It was a nice church, but not sure if it is for me, after much prayer. I am looking into what other churchs are available in the area. Wow, there are tons of baptist churches. Now, i am running into a problem....there is Independent, Free Will, Southern, American and I don't know how to figure out what the differnces are. I attended a Independent one in Ca, and to what I understand it means the church does not answer to an association. The Free Will one I just went to was explained to me that there is an assocaiation, but they do not really answer to it, they are a mission church, and it makes it so they can go to other churches to build their own. I do not really know what a church being part of an association means. If anyone, or a number of you can help me out, I would appreciate it. I don't want to not look at a church because I do not understand what the title of the church stands for. I want a bible beliving, Jesus loving church. I just want to glorify him.
