Do you think that it is a good or bad thing?

I think it is wonderful if you have one to spare. If you have already passed I think the same. Quite a gift.

Well, that's what I think also, but I was wondering about what most Messianics believe because I have heard that some don't.
I love your signature.

I love your signature.AH!!! That is what I get for picking from the "latest" menu. Oooopps. I always end up at the catholic forum too by accident and realize I gave my two cents where it wasn't needed.:sorry:
Thanks about my signature...she looks like my little daughter. I had to choose it. ;)

At this time I do have the heart on my license showing I am a donor. Yet, I have come across writings saying we shouldn't. Yet, at this point does it matter when I die that I donate my body for someone elses good? I think it matters very much for that person. I might not agree with how the Prices of Medical has RISEN to Proportions beyond the middle classes affordablity.
Thanks for the link MissJu.

Shalom Brothers and Sisters:
<Insert disclaimer here about this being my opinion, any similarity between this and others' opinions is purely coincidental>
I believe that Judiasm honors Life and takes the direction to be "fruitful and multiply" literally. Medically speaking, anything that is done to preserve life is acceptable (as far as I know).
We are instructed in both ends of my bible (NASB) to love your neighbor.
When I am done with mine, I'm willing to part with them. I don't see a problem with that. When we join with Y'shua in the clouds, it doesn't say only those who had all their pieces may join Him. I think He'll be alright with Organ Donation.
It would be a wonderful message of the Gospel....

Donate... and this unselfish giving of your self will be appreciated.

Some would rather harvest the organs instead of saving the organ donor.
 WOW! Something I had not thought of.....

Yeah... it happens frequently, believe it or not! There's a black market for organs and people will do anything to get them so that they can make loads of money off of them
I think I heard about Chinese prisoner organs being sold on the black market.

South America. Homes for the blind. They had donated their eyes so others more wealthy could have sight, and they could send money to their families. They were then supported in the homes. For how long? I don't know. Some had been sold by their families and "gave" their sight without having a choice.
