Is a Messianic believer a convert to Judaism?
No, becoming a Messianic believer does not make you Jewish - however, you may, at some point in your study and growth, decide that G-d has called you to convert to Judaism.
I have a question about this. Was this referring to coversion to non-Messianic Judaism?
Edit: Sorry I have another question. Do you all know of any internet sites that would be ok for starting to learn hebrew?

Hmm...I should probably update that FAQ answer...
Anyway, yes, it is referring to conversion to normative Judaism. However, that conversion would require a denial of Y'shua as messiah.
At the moment, I tend to agree with the First Fruits of Zion stance that conversion isn't Biblical, and that God always intended for Jews to be Jews and Gentiles to be Gentiles.

Visionary - First Fruits of Zion does, unlike the MJAA, treat Jews & Gentiles as equals. Their belief is that your ethnicity doesn't change when you become a believer. And they support that with scripture that talks about the "nations" (gentiles) beleiving and following Adonai and His Torah. How could the nations follow Adoani if they all became Jews when they became believers?
Mister Emu - there are many resources out there for learning Hebrew. Tim Hegg has some basics on his website.... www.torahresource.com (fyi - the site is closed on shabbat.) That site also has a lot of great messianic articles.
Other resources for learning hebrew include:

I have found little Hebrew material on the web that is free, correct, and comprehensive. One of the best sites is:
http://www.bible101.org/hebrew/home.html
The material is meant to be used with Page Kelley's book, but is nevertheless rather complete and useable by itself.
Tim Hegg's site, as far as I could tell, is just a supplement to "The First Hebrew Primer" and only goes through chapter 8, which is just barely into the substance of the subject. "The First Hebrew Primer" is a very good book. I've worn out a copy myself. I found the "Tall Tales" to be very intertaining.
If you are looking for internet sites because of money issues then I would strongly suggest the site I gave above. If money is not the issue, I would strongly suggest buying a good standard text. There are a number available to suit all tastes. You could order one today from Amazon and have it before the week is out, faster still if you are willing to pay for special shipping. Local bookstores rarely have anything of value for Hebrew (especially Biblical Hebrew) learning, even the "superstores".
If you would like to be part of an internet study group, I would suggest the following:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/selfstudyhebrew/?yguid=75846237
A new modern Hebrew group is just forming. They will be using "HaYesod" as a text. There is a Biblical Hebrew group in progress. They are using the old classic text by Weingreen. They are at about lesson 15 right now. Previous collations of answers are posted in the archives.

The HaTikvah course costs $35 plus the cost of the workbook. For that price one could, by shopping around, get two standard Hebrew textbooks. Based on the schedule, 5 weeks introduction and 6-8 weeks basics one doesn't get very far into the subject.
The free material at:
http://www.bible101.org/hebrew/home.html
covers the basics of grammar (including all verb conjugations, the 7 major binyan, and weak verbs) plus a significant amount of vocabulary.
