"......However, I recently heard Mr. Craig Lampe, curator of The Bible Museum in Phoenix, Arizona, and author of a video entitled, The Forbidden Book, say that the ancient pictures drawn into the Hebrew letters tell incredible secrets. He talked about the Hebrew word for the first five books of the Bible — the Torah, and said that if we were to look at the way Torah was spelled in the ancient pictorial Hebrew letters, we could find out the identity of the Divine Author who dictated those books to Moses.

Well, that got my attention! The Hebrew letters that spell Torah are (Hebrew is read from right to left). Now, if we look at those Hebrew letters and allocate to each the picture they were meant to portray, we would find that the first letter, tahv, was a cross; the second letter, vav, was a nail; the third letter, resh, was drawn like a head and stood for the wicked; and the fourth letter, hay, looked like a window with lattice work.

In other words, the Divine Author of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy is the one who took our sin upon Himself, thus becoming the “head sinner” and was “nailed” to the “cross” in order to open the “window” of heaven and pour out His Holy Spirit — the Spirit who gives us eternal life and guides us into a knowledge of God’s Word!

Well, I was amazed at what I saw. Jesus was the Divine Author of the Torah — and of the entire Bible, for that matter. I had always believed that, but had never seen it so graphically displayed as it is in the ancient pictorial letters of the Hebrew alphabet. ....."

Hmm ... interesting ... but I'm not sure if I buy it or not. (I have issues with the "cross" symbol for one. ;) ) I'll have to read the entire link as I only read the excerpt you posted ... Hmm ...

This imagery of the letters only works in the Aramaic square script Hebrew. The Torah scrolls prior to the Babylonian captivity would have been written in Paleo-Hebrew which is nearly identical to Phoenician. The symbols are quite different between Aramaic square and Paleo-Hebrew script.

Steve has it backwards. The imagery would appear with the paleo-Hebrew script not the square script. Please see:

As can be seen the tav or taw in the paleo script was a cross or, if you prefer, an x.

One issue here is that prior to the 9th century BCE Hebrew was written without matres lectionis (vowel letters), and the vav (waw) and he are matres, vav represents "o" and he represents "a".

Finally, one wonders whether the author confused the he and the chet. The chet has a greater resemblence to a window than does the he.
