The Hodder, Pocket Bible Commentary

Years ago when my vision of the SDA as a true Isreal started to collapse, and collapse it did, in my pain and agony and need to find the way I purchased a Willam Neals, The Hodder-Pocket Bible Commentary.

Now, I am wondering if any of you know if this Bible commentary is O.K. to read from our standpoint?

Never heard of it. I approach any heterodox commentary with extreme caution, and if anything sounds funny, run it by your priest.

He seems weak on church history. See it from a singularly western perspective. There are plenty of good resources from an Orthodox perspective. Particularly ones written my great saints.
