This feature is not new, and has always been there, but I suspect that not many members know about it.

Anyway, I have made it so that by default, on the Main Forum Category Page, all Forum Categories are closed except for the Welcome Forum Category.

You can open up a forum category by just clicking on the + sign or the Forum Category Title, or close it by clicking on the - sign or the Forum Category Title again.

Registered members will have their settings SAVED if cookies are switched on in their browser and account. Guests will not have their settings saved, and will have to open up a category to visit the forum.

Each time you log in the Forum Categories that you last opened or closed will be saved - so don't worry if you see everything closed when you log out. Just log in again. :)

This way hopefully you will reduce the clutter on the Forum Main Page! :)

This feature will only work with Internet Explorer - sorry to Netscape users!

On second thoughts - I will make all Forum Categories opened by default to avoid confusion, and making it hard for guests.

However, members may close Forum Categories they don't have an interest in, and these settings will be saved each time they log in.

You took away the forum closing "buttons" on the main page.

Yeah, this was one of the features that I took out, to speed up the site.
