prayers for several people with cancer

I would like to ask for prayers for several people I know with cancer. First is a dear lady from my parish, Ann Marie, our former DRE and the mother of young children, who has thyroid cancer. Next, Fr. Morse, our pastor, who has leukemia. Today, I just found out that my next door neighbor, Mrs. Rhoades, is dying of throat cancer. She's 92, and one of the most generous souls I've met. She believes she only has a few days left, but I still see her and her husband walking by holding hands. Also, please pray for the repose of Kimmy, a woman who died last week of cervical cancer leaving behind four kids under six.

I'm almost beginning to wonder if there is something wrong in this town that is causing so many people to get cancer.

My cousin Mark has been fighting cancer for almost 4 years now. It has spread to his brain, spine, lungs, and thyroid.

Lord, enable those researching a cure to find one with much haste. In Your Mercy, O Lord, strengthen those who suffer from this devastating illness that so plagues our world and give hope to their families and loved ones. Lord, we do not understand Your ways but we do understand Your eternal love. Pardon our doubts and help us to grow closer to You in our suffering, as well as in our joy. In Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

We just got a call from my SIL who's in her own battle with cancer, she just informed us she's in the hospital due to being incorectly medicated last night when she went to the emergency for migrains. She'll be in the hospital for at least 4 days so they can monitor her and make sure her body is flushed out of her system. Please pray for her that the medications she was given doesn't severely affect her.

My prayers are also with those who suffer with this terrible disease.
