Well hello Mr. Confused, you say you are a Lutheran and a Christian, yet believe nothing of the Historic Christian Faith, and think that everyone up until you has gotten it all wrong?

Well, I have thoughts about that, and would like to share them with you, but if I happen to express anything that may in any way offend you or make you think that you may happen to be wrong in any of your beliefs, I could get warned or even banned.

So, welcome to Christian Forums.... Where truth and any sort of doctrinal stance is against the rules, and your personal sense of self-righteousness will be defended until every right-thinking Christian is banned!

Oh, and don't forget, if you quote the Scriptures or the Confessions of the Church, your post will be censored and you'll get your hand slapped but good.

I was going to ask you about those big welts on your hands. Now I know. ;)

There's a difference between "I disagree, and here's why" (the soft approach which leads to fewer walls being built up) and "I'm right and always am and you're always wrong."

It's the latter that is being ruled against here... now if you can't speak your mind without belittleing people and telling them how non-Christian and how unsaved and heathenistic they are, then perhaps the rule change is bad. I don't think anyone really has that need, though. I think we can all temper our tongues better if we try... and this rule is something which will act as a catalyst to that if we do it right.

 I GIVE UP!!!!

Why do you give up? Surely it's not a hardened heart which causes you to give up, is it? Surely there's something which you acknowledge within yourself as imperfect, as there are many things about myself which are imperfect. Anger being one of them (for myself).

Hmm.... I see a thread idea coming up here...

Throughout CF there is so much heresy that is defended with the use of Scripture. When Scripture can be interpreted as one pleases, it leads to running in circles. I just stick to the sugary posts now.

Doesn't that make you angry? Problem is I don't know what good it would truly do to appeal to Erwin about this rule change. He would be more likely to defend his MODs than to agree with us peons.

Multiple Rule 7 violations.

The choice is simple. If you do not like the way CF runs things, and you do not like CF's Mission Statement: Uniting All Christians As One Body ... you are free to post on other MBs.
