I'm in the process of ordering my invitations... but it hit me that does Orthodox weddings say something other than 'wedding', like crowning?

Right now my wedding invitation says like this

Ms Eva xxx
Mr Peter xxx
request the honour of your presence
at the marriage of their daughter
Jennie xxxxx
to
Kevin xxxx
Navy rank
on Sunday, the ninth of October
two thousand and five
time
Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church
location
Baltimore, Maryland

Just say wedding.
Yup. Otherwise your non-Orthodox guests won't have a clue what you're talking about.

Then again... I think some of them would come just for the food... :D

Yup, I ordered them with 'wedding'... but it would have been fun to just mess with them a little...
My husband's LOOOONG military rank gave us more trouble, but again, 99% of our guests won't know better...

Now if I can only get Father to sit down with me for 15 mins at some point (instead of running around like a headless chicken :D ) it'll be all good...
