I cant seem to find a home in either today's modern Catholicism, nor the Traditional Catholicism.
Could this be a sign Im meant to be Orthodox?
Thanks!

Unfortunately, I cant convert till Im out of the house, and Im in college. I have about a year left until anything can happen. I cant even go to Orthodox DL. But, I can go to Eastern Catholic DL :). I know they arent Orthodox, but its still better than nothing. And, I can continue to receive the Sacraments in a EC Church, until I convert.
Its hard sometimes, but I will just try to live the best Christian life I can live before I can convert. Thats all God can expect of me right now.
Please pray for me :) Thanks for your replies!

God knows the intentions of our hearts. Do not get discouraged. Remember Joseph of the Old Testament who was sold as a slave into Eqypt, yet remained faithful to God despite the fact he could not worship with or fellowship with anybody.
God rewarded him for his loyalty, and He will know you and reward you too.
God be with you. I'm praying for you.

My dear Drew, EVERYONE was meant to be Orthodox.
Read, read, read, pray pray pray, and please ask us any questions about Orthodoxy that you like.

Everybody is meant to be Orthodox. You'd have to be more specific about what your problems were. If you came to Orthodoxy simply because you were dissatisfied with Catholicism, that may not be good. If you came because you found in it the fulfillment your Catholic faith, that's good. If you came for the salvation of your soul, that'd be great.

I think its a little of both: dissastification with Western Catholicism, and also for the salvation of my soul.
Thanks for all your replies!

Do know that the conversion process is not, shall we say, speedy. :)

It depends. What you need to decide is do you accept the dogma or not, not if you feel comfortable with the worship. I'm not sure exactly which you mean.
Even the Eastern Rite Catholics who have kept some Orthodox traditions on the outside accept everything the RCC teaches. When you share communion, you share belief.

All I can say is to pray sincerely. Examine your motives and understand that the journey to Orthodoxy is profound, gradual, frustrating at times, and wholly natural and most worthwhile.
You are in my prayers.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v408/greymooncrest/OrthoPrayer.gif
Under His Mercy,
Eusebios.
