Hey, I was reading through the first chapters of Genesis the other day and I realized for the first time (duh) that Noah knew what animals were clean and unclean before the Law was even given. Also I noticed that God told Noah that he could eat of any clean animal, but not to eat the blood. That was really interesting to me because in the New Testament when the Gentiles were being told only 4 things to live by, one of them was to abstain from eating blood. Now some people will say that it was a compromise and that they were trying to Judaize the Gentiles, but I don't think so. I'm not Messianic but you guys have given me a lot to think about.

Does it offend you guys when I write out G-d? I won't do it in here if it does.

I'm sooo glad you saw that Faith! now when you read about argument in the NT concerning food you will know that not all MEAT was concidered FOOD for us to eat.......the clean = our food and the unclean = not food at all:P

Great discovery, eh? I just made that one a little while ago myself!
I am seriously recommending a great, totally readable book called "Holy Cow! Does G-d Care about What We Eat?" by Hope Eagan.
