Next year in Jerusalem

You know how the Pesach Seder ends with the words "NEXT YEAR IN JERUSALEM"?

Every Jew has a dream of celebrating Passover in Jerusalem right?

But just today something interesting came to mind about these words in a slightly different context.

I was having dinner with my son when I thought about the coming of the Kingdom of Yahweh and what it would be like for him (my son) if Yahshua were to come right now. What kind of relationship would I have with my child, and what would his understanding be like?

Anyway I said the words "Next year in Jerusalem" to him and he repeated them...and I thought....

"Next year in Jerusalem, the Holy city of Jerusalem in the coming age."

Now that is something awesome to dream of!

I like the sound of that "next year in Jerusalem"....good news indeed.

Yep, that's how my husband and I think of it - next year in Jerusalem with the King of Kings!

We change the words slightly and say "next year in the new Jersusalem!"

I think of it that way too bon and its awesome that Jews that dont believe in Yeshua share this belief with us ;) although I am not sure if they are referring to the New Jerusalem..

No, because my hope is still to see the Old Jerusalem, to see where Yeshua walked and taught and prayed. I want to know as much of his history while on earth as I can and when the old is washed away we won't remember all the pain and suffering, so I don't want to miss that, even though I say,

"THIS YEAR IN NEW JERUSALEM!" :)

Bananna, will we need to have our homeschool books or will we just "Know" what to teach our kiddies, or will they just "Know"? I think Torah will still be taught though...JMO:clap:! I cant wait! I am soo ready! I remember before understanding this stuff I was fearful about this but NOT NOW! I use to think people were crazy for wanting the end to come BUT NOT NOW! I use to wish for it after I had had a full life....what's THAT! A full life will be when we are in the New Jerusalem! That will be life , I am loving this life in Yeshua but when we see him and the Father Face to Face yippy!:clap:
