For those who care...

Since I used to have a lot of friends on this site, I thought I'd go ahead and tell you what's going on.

My conversion training is complete and my wife and I will go to the Mikveh this Wednessday (May 4th) in St. Louis. We will then come back that evening and stand before the Beit Din for the last time.

If anyone cares to come... there will be a celebration of the converts on our regular Shabbat Service Friday evening May 27th in Champaign Illinois at Sinai Temple. An Oneg will follow, and my wife is baking the Challah. ;)

If you need directions, lemme know and I'll simply post them here.

Tommorow's the big day. I've got my paper written up that I need to submit to the Beit Din. First we head off to the Mikveh in St. Louis (the one near us is closed for construction currently). Then to a nice little kosher deli for lunch, and back home. Then in the evening we stand before the Beit Din. We have studied with the Rabbi one on one for just about a year now and he will stand in with us, to testify.
