Hello. I noticed the area in which I live, every Lutheran church is called "Evangelical." Is this true of all Lutheran churches? I was wondering if there were denominations within the denomination. Thanks in advance for your response.

Since Evangelical comes from the German word "Evangelische" which means Gospel and Luther was German it kind of makes sense that we were known as Evangelical before the other protestants don't you? ;)

All Lutherans are evangelical. However, are you talking about the branches?
Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (www.elca.org (http://www.elca.org))
Lutheran Church - Missouri Syndo (www.lcms.org (http://www.lcms.org))
Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (www.wels.org (http://www.wels.org))
See, just the Missouri Synod doesn't put it in the branch's name. . .they're still Evangelical, though.

Also in the liturgy, confirmation for example, LCMS asks if you accept the teachings of the "evangelical Lutheran Church" to be true
