We have a Shabbos service on the 2nd and 4th Friday at the ever so large
Nehemiah Center.
What elements would you have in it if you had sole authority to make up the service?
Let me know I would love to hear your opinions.
I want to begin moving this from a mostly protestant service time
with Messiainc overtones to a Messianic service that a protestant would feel
welcome in and learn from.
Candles ?
Reading from the Seddur?
What you think?
Blessings for your thoughts

As a Protestant, which I was no more than three months ago for over 30 years... and I came to your services, I would delight in learning the way, the truth and the light in the service. The service in Jewish, the teaching in English, the truth in the service brought out, and the light upon the Word of the Lord brought forward that I may be blessed. Since this world is brand new to me, I would want you to go slow so that I may learn from it. Little bits at a time. Small portions for me to chew on for the next week.
I would love if you were in my neighbourhood, for I am miles from anywhere and this is my only learning center and fellowship in the truth. May you be a blessing to all those that you teach about the sancturay, the ceremonial sabbaths, the Torah, and Yeshua. The truth in its beauty in its original setting is a wonder to behold. It shines forth unto everlasting glory. I rejoice in your work and pray for your efforts.

I don't know where your people are at, but I have seen groups that have started out as one thing and when the leader was inspired and growing in a different direction leads the group on that path. This can be VERY difficult for people. Be slow, gentle, kind, patient.
I have found that it is easier to share havdala with new people than Shabbat. Not so much temtation to treat lightly (without understanding of course) things that are soooo important to me. So this sets me at ease and provides an opportunity for sharing. But this could just be me
