Hi WildCelt,
They have been working on this for a long time. I've received several notifications of this in the mail over the last couple years asking for donations to complete it. It appears to be a quality work and the plan is that many will come to believe in Yeshua through it. I don't think it's completed yet.
Blessings,

While I said I haven't seen this before, I was browsing through my dusty old links in my favorites list and came across the same link! Obviously I have seen it before, but from where and when I have no idea ;)

Actually if you download Esword (which is free) it has its own Messianic Renewed Covevent add on which you can download, which is as far as I know, the same as what you linked to.
This can be seen here: http://www.e-sword.net/bibles.html Just scroll down ;)

FYI
Zev Isaacs is the founder and chairman of this project. He founded The Messianic Times newspaper in 1989 and resigned in 2002 to begin working on this project. Zev Isaacs, the son of a Holocaust survivor, raised in Montreal's Jewish community, began his search for God while completing his degree in International Relations at York University in 1987. During his search, he was challenged by his mother's new faith in Jesus (Yeshua), and by his Jewish friend's conversion to Orthodox Judaism.
Dr. Michael L. Brown is the chief editor. Dr. Michael L. Brown is founder and president of ICN Ministries, which is devoted to taking the message of repentance and revival to Israel, the Church, and the Nations. Dr. Brown served as a leader in the Brownsville Revival from 1996-2000, helping birth the Brownsville Revival School of Ministry and serving as its first president. In January 2001, Dr. Brown helped birth the FIRE School of Ministry, serving as the school’s president as well as the senior team leader of F.I.R.E. (F.I.R.E. is the acronym for the Fellowship for International Revival and Evangelism, now based in Charlotte, North Carolina.) The FIRE School of Ministry serves as a training center for the Jesus Revolution and has sent out graduates across America and around the world. (They are currently serving the Lord full-time in as many as twenty-five nations.) In the Fall of 2002, Dr. Brown, who is a native New Yorker, returned to the city to help establish the FIRE School of Ministry, New York (originally, The Call School of Ministry, New York). He teaches there regularly, dividing his time between Charlotte and New York.
As a Jewish believer in Jesus, Dr. Brown is active in Jewish evangelism and has debated rabbis on radio, TV, and college campuses. He is also a published Old Testament and Semitic scholar, holding a Ph.D. in Near Eastern Languages and Literatures from New York University. He has served as a Visiting Professor of Jewish Apologetics at Fuller Theological Seminary School of World Mission and as a Visiting Professor of Old Testament at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
Dr. Brown also serves on the leadership team of Harvest International Ministries (HIM), a network of apostolic ministries headed up by Pastor Che Ahn.
They talked about in international editorial team, but didn't give any names.
