Could you explain what I am looking at here?

Sorry , I gave the direct download link to the add on.
e-Sword (http://www.e-sword.net) is a freeware Bible study tool. While fairly Protestant in bias WRT dictionaries and commentaries it is a great tool, especially now that some Orthodox extrabiblical add-ons are now available.

Thanks again, your a handy man to have around, wouldn't it be nice if e-sword had an english version of the LXX for downloading, of course 4 or 5 would be even better, I think, so what do you think? what's needed for this?
permission to copy an existing translation or a new translation or something else? please advise.

You might try inquiring here
http://www.e-sword.net/feedback.html
There is a user created module page here
http://www.e-sword.net/usermods/
IIRC, there used to be an email address on that page to submit modules and get info on how to create new ones, but it seems to be missing.

Thanks again, I've been in touch and am waiting hopefully for a reply, can you tell me if the LXX was written in a particular form of greek and is there a known greek/english dictionary dealing with the work in question.

It'd be nice if we had a reliable english version of the LXX for reading. Brenton's is awful, hopefully the lxx.org one will be good.

Why what's wrong with Brenton's, without getting too technical.

His English is difficult to read. I have also heard questions as to the reliability of his translation.

Would somebody please help a non-technogeek?
If I am understanding this correctly, the program is downloadable and contains the works of the Ante-Nicaean Fathers? But you have to download something else first?
What would be the step-by-step process to getting the Ante-Nicaean Fathers on my hard drive? Presume I know a bit about computers.

Vasya, I'm not sure if this is correct, but I think you have to download the PDF files of the Ante-Nicaean Fathers from: www.ccel.org (http://www.ccel.org) , then incorperate them into e-Sword system.

No.
First you downoad the e-Sword program (hopefully you are not on dialup) and install it, then you download and install the additional Bibles, commentaries & extras as desired from the e-Sword site, the AN Fathers being one of them.

Thanks Oblio, I would have screwed that up too. I downloaded the exe file from my work server onto my Memory Stick. Now I just have to install it at home.

Yes it would be great to have a modern english translation, I'm even thinking of starting myself although this appears to me as madness as I have no knowledge of greek.
Recently I have heard from various sources doubts cast upon the reliability of all bibles, some might say that leaves us up a creek without a paddle, but men will always argue.
It is up to us to read the Word of God in whatever form we find it, for the Lord Almighty is more than capable of showing us the truth of these things.
Perhaps there is an olde english/modern english dictionary on the web somewhere.
Personally I'm on the lookout for ancient greek for the novice.

IIRC there is one for e-Sword :) Context sensitive so all you have to do is click on a word and the definition appears in the dictionary window.
Added: Technically, it is Early Modern English. Old English is unintelligable to (most of) us.

King James Dictionary
The King James Bible has stood it's ground for nearly 400 years. However, during that time the English language has changed. With it has changed the meaning of some words used in the KJV. Here are over 800 words whose definitions have changed since 1611.
