I tried to apply to moderate News and Current Events. I finished my application at 3:39 a.m. Pacific Daylight time, and hit "Send it!" Nothing except a notation in my browser (not from your page) "please wait while that site is being contacted." Then nothing.
I assumed it was not working and gave up, although I still wish to apply.
BTW I will cut and paste my application next time since I spent a long time working on the "experience" part and I really am not looking forward to doing that all over again. :) :pink:

Mmm... your moderator application didn't go through... try again. Other applications have gone through, so it may be a problem on your end.

It still doesn't work. What could be the problem on my end? :help:
BTW can I send the application to you or to whoever's in charge of this by e-mail or PM if I can't make that work?
I really do want to moderate News and Current Events. :)

When you tried again today, did you have the same exact problem that you mentioned in your original post? :)

Make sure you have TICKED the box next to:
"Yes, I think the person you are looking for could be the same I see in the mirror each morning."

OK I will try now. If it doesn't work i will assume the problem is on my end.

Does the moderator application depend on browser features? Susan, what browser are you using?

Whatever comes with Win XP. I don't know much, it's my sister's computer, not mine.
I'll be back and work on it later. :)

I wonder if it's an XP related issue.....
