Hi all
Do any of you listen to the broadcast KFUO Issues, Etc with Pastor Todd Wilken? If so what are your thoughts on the program?
I have recently stumbled upon it via the internet. I believe it is affliated with Concordia University and is basically a Lutheran view and discussion of popular topics from political to theological topics.
God Bless,
Jesaiah

Issues Etc. is great! I don't believe it gets any funding from synod, and I don't think it's associated with the seminary, either. You can find it at www.kfuo.org. Besides my pastor, I think Todd Wilken and Gene Edward Veith are most responsible for helping me to see the blessings of Lutheran teaching. When I first started listening, I thought, "Gee, this guy's a little harsh." But eventually the truth sinks in. If you wanna think more like a Lutheran, listen to Issues Etc. for a few hours.
Best of all, you can find hours and hours of archived programs at the website. They did a great roundtable discussion on The Purpose-Driven Life a few months back.
And no post would be complete without a plug for the producer, Jeff Schwarz, who does all the work behind the scenes to find the guests and get the show on the air. Those guys are awesome. In fact, I'm gonna go listen to yesterday's show right now!

Issues, Etc is great! I also like The Bible Study on KFUO.
I only wish I had time to listen to all the archives!

Issues Etc. Is the only program I will tune into daily. I usually only get to listen to the first hour live and then I go home so have to listen to the last 2 hours on archive daily, but then that's okay too because I can pause it if I have to leave my desk for a while and come back to it later.
I have spoken and written to Jeff Schwarz a few times and wish that I lived in the town they broadcast. I would go to the station and learn what I could to work there at some point since my education was in broadcasting.
