What can I do? I'm not salvationist but catholic yet I'd like to know what salvation army is really like?
Any ideas or am I just out of luck?

The salvation army is like any other denomination. There can be big differences depending on which location you visit. The best way to find out about it is to check out various websites to understand the salvos views. You might also like to get a copy of the doctrine handbook which states what the salvos believe, how they came to this view and bible passages to back up their views. The website for the salvos is usually salvationarmy.org.uk (or .au or whatever country your in if the salvos are there)

I couldn't find any specific information, but I will look if you would like more information. The following is from one of the Salvation Army's websites:
