Respect their positions as parents and revere them in your attitude with them and toward them. Love them regardless~ :)

And remember, your parents are your parents forever, and are to be honored always, not only when you are a child.

Admittedly, sometimes parents can be a challenge, and some parents, themselves, are the challenge! My parents were a challenge to me and all of my siblings, so I searched for a long time for answers to this question.
Basically, according to the most learned one I asked, respect and be grateful to them for the life they gave you, and be thankful to G-d for His provision through them.
I don't know how old you are or if you are living in their home. However, if are being supported by them at all, you are obligated to go by their rules, unless their household rules break the Law of G-d. If you cannot abide by their rules, then it is time to fully support yourself, thus showing yourself to be adult enough to make your own decisions.
If you are not being supported by them at all (not living in their home, completely self-supporting without their help), then you have moved from childhood to adulthood. This is the time when we run our homes as we see fit. However, they still have many years of experience, and you should be open to hear them and respectful of their opinions that do not break the Law of G-d. Respecting their opinions, in this case, does not always mean doing what they say, however. Then, if you refuse to hear any wise advice, you will pay the consequences.
