Does anyone here want him?

Paladin? He's a Borgdog! Your posts would make the most suitable home for him, if you want him, my son.

If he is not taken, I will take him.

If he is not taken, I will take him.

That's great, Cola! I'd be honored if you'd take him!
I don't have enough blessings to give you for you to change him into another dog (that costs as much as buying a new one, so if you have lots, you could do that instead, and probably should), but I can give you enough to feed him for a pretty long time.
My monitor's malfunctioning, and I'm worried that it will go down and I won't be able to get a new one before he straves. Pets can only survive for about a week without being fed before they die.
Intellectually, I do know he's not real, but I'm really attached to him, just the same.
Three of Eight will pop back out of pet daycare in four days, Cola. Then we can arrange to both be here at a time you know will work foryou, so that you can sit on the pet adoption page and refresh it like crazy while I put him up for adoption, and then you can grab him. It sure would be great if we could give pets as gifts, like we do armour, but it's not set up that way.

Dear Borg Mommy and official Methodist Ambassador to the STR Kingdom,

I would love to take Rex 6 of 10, Secondary Adjunct of Toiletbowl number 0, but my duties as king (and papers for school) are currently a bit too much to worry about a pet.

I'm sure Colabomb would be a good pet owner, especially as he has fully embraced Borgkind.

Warm regards to you,

-Your favorite drone

Actually, my schedule is very hectic, and I am not sure I can sit on the CPU and do that.

Perhaps you could find someone else to do it, when I offered to take care of him, I didn't know what was involved (sorry, very sorry).

God Bless Sister! :)

It sounds like you wouldn't have time to feed him, either, then, and now's the time to find that out, I think.

Yes, perhaps it would be better to give him to someone else.

I would adopt him, but I don't think I have enough blessings.

Well, my plan was to give anyone who wanted him more than enough blessings to adopt and feed him. :)

I went and did some quizzes to quickly help raise the number of blessings I have. Do I have have enough to adopt your cyberpuppy? I don't have any real pets or children (just a husband), so I could love your dog and take care of him, and whenever you want you can drop by to play with him and say hi.

You have way more than you should need! :)
He's in pet daycare now, but will pop back out in about four days. My idea was that you and I come online at the same time, once he's out, so that you can sit on the adoption page and refresh while I put him up for adoption for very few blessings. Then you would be on the spot to grab him before anyone else did. Do you think that would be possible?

I'll give you plenty of blessings to take care of him, and then some!

Sure, I'll take care of him! When do you want to do the exchange? First off, what time zone are you in?

Plan 9

I'd love for you to have him, but first I want to be sure that you wouldn't rather have your own pet, but can't afford one. If you'd rather create your own pet, rather than take Three of Eight, I'll be more than happy to give you the blessings you need to make your own. :)

oh no, I'm fine taking an existing one that needs a home. Just like if I wanted a real life pet, I'd go to an adoption shelter instead of a breeder. Unless of course you are having second thoughts about giving up Three of Eight?

No, I wish that I could say that I'd gotten my new monitor and were having second thoughts, but I feel like you do: he's in danger and I want him to have a good, safe home because I love him, as silly as that seems.

Because some members do adopt pets because they can't afford the ones they really want, I'm prepared to give you either. :)

No, Planny, I really would like to adopt Three of Eight. I trust you have house broken him already!

Accept for the fact that I suspect him of still desiring to assimilate all who play with him, yes.

They got eventually got most of the Borg out of Seven, and she was actively engaged in de-Borging herself, as she slowly caught on, but we're speaking of a de-Borged dog here, after all, so I don't feel I can entirely trust him.
So far, when I've asked, no one has reported seeing his assimulation tubules extended from the back of his left paw, but, [i]how can I be sure they're telling the truth?
