Vatican confirms Passing of John Paul II

Heavenly Father, We thank you and celebrate the life of this beloved man; we pray that You embrace Pope John Paul II as he comes home to you following his incredible journey here; we are grateful that he is at peace, and that he has been lifted from the suffering he faced so bravely, and is now fully healed by your presence; We are grateful for the his example of his life, and how he conquered death with peace and courage, just has he had lived; we are grateful for his love and compassion; for his guidance, influence, his life’s example, his service and insight, and his support and promotion of peace and human liberty; may all who mourn be lifted from sadness, and have hope, comfort, and rejoice in the Lord; may those in charge of the selection of a new Pope be guided by Your Spirit to find a man of great faith and leadership to do Your will; may we be patient through the process and have faith, strength and perseverance; Your will be done. Sad that he has passed on but happy that he is in Heaven with Our Lord. May we get a truly great Pope in his place aswell and may all the good He did carry on and spread throughout the World, leaving nothing but Peace on Earth and Goodwill toward all.
